Jenson: Real Madrid cannot currently afford to buy Bale

Spanish football expert Pete Jenson has insisted Real Madrid have to sell a number of the players in thier packed squad in order to have enough funds to sign Tottenham’s Gareth Bale.
Jenson reveals Madrid are privately telling people they have agreed a deal with Bale’s representatives, with the club happy to offer £70m plus a player - thought to be full-back Fabio Coentrao, though Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas would reportedly prefer winger Angel Di Maria as a direct replacement for the Welshman.
