Martin Blackburn, northern-based football writer for The Sun, reflects on Sunderland's victory over Tottenham and Manchester City's win against South China in the Barclays Asia Trophy on Wednesday.
And Blackburn said he expects Fernandinho to be a hit in the Premier League after the Braziling midfielder impressed for City.
"People were suprised City paid £30million for a guy who is 28, but he looks ideally suited to the Premier League," he said, speaking on the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.
