House of Pain meets "Pain & Gain" in the very first installment of The Mashup Getdown.
House of Pain is an American hip hop group consisting of Everlast (Erik Francis Schrody), Danny Boy (Daniel O'Connor), and DJ Lethal (Leor Dimant). They released three albums in the 1990s before lead rapper Everlast left to pursue his solo career. The group broke up in 1996 but reformed in 2010. Songs featured in this mashup include, "Jump Around", "Danny Boy", and "Shamrocks & Shenanigans".

"Pain & Gain" is a 2013 American crime and comedy film directed by Michael Bay and starring Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie. The film is based on a story published in a 1999 series of Miami New Times articles written by Pete Collins and compiled in Collins' 2013 book "Pain & Gain: This is a True Story", which details the kidnapping, extortion, torture, and murder of several victims by an organized group of criminals that included a number of bodybuilders affiliated with Sun Gym.
