Man falls off bridge after Vancouver Canucks lose the Stanley Cup?

As of this moment the man who fell is in critical condition at St. Pauls Hospital.

I was there, no one pushed him, he was trying to jump one ledge to the other, but didn't quite make it. No one pushed him or anything like that, Can't believe I was there for that...and apparently theres no death reports yet, lets hope it stays that way..

UPDATE 10.05am JUNE 16th --
It's believed that person may have fallen 12 metres after trying to jump from the concourse of Rogers Arena to the sidewalk of a nearby elevated roadway after Thursday night's game.

UPDATE 7.42am JUNE 16th --
Just after the game, outside Rogers Arena, a man wearing a Bruins jersey fell over 50 feet from the pedestrian walkway onto the ground below.

"I heard a bang like someone was shot," said Province editor Jonathan McDonald.

"He hit the awning above the ticket booth and then bounced off it and landed prone on the ground with one arm sticking straight up."

The man was rushed to hospital. His condition is not yet known.

VPD and emergency crews are also dealing with a man who fell off the Georgia Viaduct onto the plaza at Rogers Arena. He said to be in serious condition.

B.C. Ambulance confirmed that a man had fallen or jumped off a bridge called the Dunsmuir Viaduct and had been taken to hospital.
