Good Samaritans can be found everywhere and across all walks of life.

Eileen Taylor is a regular customer at an Amesbury coffee shop called Heav'nly Donuts. She recently stopped at the drive-through in the morning to get some drinks. When she pulled up to the window, she was told that an unidentified woman who had been ahead of her in line had already paid for Taylor’s items.

Taylor had just recently lost her job. But she went back to the shop the following day and decided to keep spreading the kindness.

Taylor paid $12 for the drive-through customer behind her. Amazingly, the line of cars grew and a sort of chain reaction followed.

A cashier at the shop stated,, " after about the fifteenth car, I started letting the customers know, 'hey, we're at seventeen cars in. You can either keep it going or break it.' And nobody wanted to break the chain."

In total 55 cars passed through and each driver decided to pay for the person behind them upon learning that their items had already been taken care of.

The only reason it stopped was because there was no one behind the last car.
