Great Planes Rifle 1M Sport ARF

Picture yourself piloting a model that moves at 130 mph or more, and doesn’t require expensive electronics or hours in the workshop prior to flight! Great Planes applied lessons from its 31” span Rifle to develop this larger, one-meter version — increasing its speed potential while making the plane easier to see, easier to fly and easier to land. Advanced flying skills are still a must: For pilots using the Rifle 1M’s speed power setup, it can quickly disappear from sight at 130+ mph. An optional sport power configuration delivers impressive performance in a 90-100 mph range.

The model features lightweight, durable fiberglass and foam composite construction. Its large, one-meter wing has broad black stripes on the bottom — helping you follow its orientation and stay cool and calm at the controls. Both the wing and stabilizer bolt into place and align automatically. All control surfaces are factory-hinged. Dual aileron servos increase precision and allow flaperon/spoileron mixing for a wider flight envelope. Factory-cut inlets and exits allow air to pass through the battery compartment and keep on-board electronics cool. The machined aluminum spinner is included as part of the model’s hardware package.
