The Kaiser Chiefs and Bon Jovi rock Hyde Park

Audience participation was the name of the game for Bon Jovi who were were among the acts kicking off a concert series in London's Hyde Park on Friday (July 5).

The band and its lead singer, born John Francis Bongiovi, mark their 30th year in the music industry after establishing themselves in 1983.

The 'Barclaycard British Summer Time in Hyde Park' concerts are running back-to-back weekends with some of the world's biggest touring artists taking part.

Also delighting the crowds were British band the Kaiser Chiefs.

Tens of thousands of music lovers turned out on the hottest weekend of the year so far in London with temperatures rising to 26 degrees celsius.
