Even if you don't make the 3D part I think the tips by themselves look really good as well :)
I was requested by several people to do a tinkerbell inspired look and I thought it would be fun to make her in 3D since pretty much all of my character designs are handpainted. I will be doing more 3D characters like this at some point. I also had a request to do an easy fairy look, and I know this probably doesn't work too well for that but I don't see how a fairy can become easy :/
