Thief Steals $20,000 in Belongings From Hotel Room

Two women who were staying in a Miami Beach hotel were the victims of a major theft after a crook stole their belongings and cash, totaling about $20,000. The ladies were visiting from Brazil.

Two women who were staying in a Miami Beach hotel were the victims of a major theft after a crook stole their belongings and cash, totaling in value of about $20,000. The ladies were visiting from Brazil.
The incident occurred on June 8th, but police have just recently released the surveillance footage in an attempt to catch the culprit. A housekeeper at the hotel ran into the man when she had finished cleaning.
The male entered the room and showed the housekeeper a hotel key card, claiming the suite belonged to his mother.
When the women returned to their room, they found that $10,000 in jewelry, $1,800 in cash and a $900 computer along with a $5,000 Chanel bag had been stolen. The females’ credit cards and IDs had also been stolen.
A police spokesperson stated “Not only did he have the card, but he also knew which room to go in. There's a lot of rooms in that hotel, and he happened to get the room that has $20,000 worth of property and cash.”
