Menthol Candies to Offset Festival Toilet Odors

The grounds of the Glastonbury music festival house around 5000 toilets. To help offset the odors emanating from all those porta-loos, Jakemans has donated loads of “heavy menthol’ candies.
This year’s Glastonbury music festival is expected to have over 180 thousand attendees, well over a thousand acts - including the Rolling Stones, an abundance of food and alcohol, and around 5000 toilets.
To help offset the odors emanating from all those porta-loos, Jakemans sweets has donated loads of “heavy menthol’ candies to be distributed amongst the event’s environmental volunteers.
The festival is serious business, and so is keeping the facilities and 900-acre grounds in top shape for the multi-day revelry.
The area is outfitted with 2 reservoirs for drinking water and has its own sewage storage and recycling plant. The donated menthol candies will be welcomed by the workers responsible for keeping the facilities continuously functioning at optimal levels.
Plus, it’s not like all of the fans go home at the end of the day and give the equipment a rest. The cost of admission includes access to the camping ground.
