Kastrinakis: 'Perez has always wanted Rooney at Real Madrid'

The Sun's European football expert, Antony Kastrinakis, says Carlo Ancelotti has been a long-time target of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez after the Italian was confirmed as Jose Mourinho's successor on Tuesday.
Kastrinakis says Ancelotti's appointment could spark a host of transfer deals, with the new Bernabeu boss set to sanction the sale of Gonzalo Higuain to Arsenal and a move for Napoli star Edinson Cavani.
