Chicago Blackhawks win 2013 Stanley Cup Finals in wild Game 6

The Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Boston Bruins 3-2 in Boston after scoring two goals in the final 1:16 to clinch the 2013 Stanley Cup for their second title in four seasons.

Chicago scored two goals in 17 seconds to beat Boston and win their fifth NHL championship. With 76 seconds left, Jonathan Toews fed Bryan Bickell at the top of the crease to beat goalie Tuukka Rask and tie the game 2-2. The winning goal was scored with 59 seconds remaining after a shot on net by Chicago ricocheted off Michael Frolik, then then post and went straight to Dave Bolland, who netted it.

Bruins fans were no doubt hoping for a repeat of 2011, when their team rallied from a 3-2 deficit to beat the Vancouver Canucks in seven games for their sixth Stanley Cup and their first since 1972.
