Gonzalo Higuain has agreed personal terms in excess of £130,000-a-week with Arsenal as the Gunners prepare to smash their transfer record and wage structure to land the Real Madrid hitman. (Daily Mirror)
But Arsenal’s hopes of signing Ashley Williams have stalled over his £10million price tag. Swansea will not take any less than that sum for their skipper but the Gunners are not willing to pay that much for the central defender. (The Sun)
