Everyday mundane situations can sometimes turn violent.

A 30-year-old tow truck driver is still recovering from an injury after a fight erupted between himself and a rival driver for another towing company. Bud DeBoer has an over 1 inch gash on the back of his head from where the other truck operator hit him in the back of the head with a shovel.

DeBoer arrived on the scene of a three car accident on the Mount Henry Bridge in Perth, Australia. That’s when an argument broke out, as another truck driver was also there. The two men exchanged words after a debate over who had rights to tow certain cars heated up.

DeBoer turned his back and walked away from the verbal altercation, but that proved to be a bad move.

In perfect view of passing traffic, the rival driver struck DeBoer full force with a shovel. Somehow, DeBoer was able to keep his footing, preventing him from falling to the ground.
