Featuring Rajnikanth and Nagma in it, the song was composed by Deva and sung by SP Balasubramanyam along with KS Chithra. Although the movie Basha was itself inspired by Amitabh Bachchan and Rajnikanth starrer Hindi film 'Hum', the song 'Nee Nadandal Nadai Azhagu' was also an alleged copied version, but from an altogether different movie this time.
