Arnold Schwarzenegger to Star in 'Terminator 5'

Schwarzenegger recently announced that he will be starring in Terminator 5. He played the lead in the first three films of the Terminator series.

Arnold Schwarzenegger isn’t slowing down any time soon. The 65-year-old went from actor to governor of California. After stepping down from the political throne, he is again venturing into the world of movies.

He recently announced that he will be starring in Terminator 5. Schwarzenegger played the lead in the first three films of the Terminator series. That trio of movies took in more than $1 billion at the box office.

Schwarzenegger stated “I’m very happy that the studios want me to be in Terminator 5 and to star as the terminator, which we start shooting in January…So I feel very proud of that. I feel very happy and I’m looking forward to doing those films."

His last appearance in the series was in 2003’s Terminator 3: Rise. Since that time, he has also starred in The Last Stand, Around the World in 80 Days and The Expendables.

Born in Austria, Schwarzenegger garnered celebrity status after winning multiple bodybuilding championships.
