Ray Parlour says it is vital West Ham wrap up a deal for Andy Carroll and claims a permanent move to Upton Park will also benefit the striker in the long-term.
Carroll is weighing up whether to join the Hammers after a successful loan spell last season, with Liverpool having accepted an offer of around £15million from Sam Allardyce's side.
