Nigeria holds funeral for author Chinua Achebe

Al Qarra - Chinua Achebe will be laid to rest on the 23rd of May in Nigeria. His body, repatriated from the United States, will be inhumed at his hometown of Ogidi in the Southeast of the country. Descendant of the noble Igbo family, Achebe shall be buried following his culture’s traditional customs.
