The Times’ football editor Tony Evans understands Liverpool will look to cash in on Luis Suarez to raise funds and sign a number of quality players, but believes the club are becoming increasingly less attractive to prospective signings due to their slipping league status.
Evans says Everton have come to terms with Marouane Fellaini’s exit after the Belgian rose to the fore in recent seasons, but adds that the money generated from his transfer can be used to strengthen the squad.
