Restaurants are constantly trying to create a buzz among their patrons.

A cafe in Sydney, Australia has decided to encourage romantic gestures between couples by allowing patrons to pay with a kiss.

As part of a one-month long promotion, every morning in the month of June from 9am-11am, coffee loving customers won’t have to shell out for their morning beverage of choice. Paying for the Cup of Joe is easy, as café goers must publicly smooch a partner.

A waiter at the restaurant stated “ It has to be a real kiss ... a true kiss. I can see if it is a fake kiss. I am kind of a specialist. At Metro St James we don't want your money. Just your kisses!”

There is one noteworthy disclosure - staff won’t be allowed to take part in the affectionate escapades so it’s best to come prepared with another person prior to arriving at the café.

What do you think? How do you like the idea of paying with a kiss?
