When it comes to luxury cars, Aston Martin is one of the top names.

The automaker has unveiled their unique CC100 Speedster concept car which was created solely for the company’s 100th birthday. The shape of the newest 2-seater symbolizes the iconic 1959 Aston Martin DBR1 racecar.

Serving as a functional prototype, it premiered at Nürburgring 24 Hours, where the CEO of Aston Martin, Ulrich Bez took it for a spin. The interior components and body of the vehicle are derived from carbon fiber.

Powered by a 6.0-liter, V12 gasoline engine, the car houses a six-speed manual transmission that is controlled by paddle shifts which are mounted on the steering column. With a top speed of 180 miles per hour, the CC100 is capable of hitting 62 miles per hour in about four seconds.

With bucket seats in the front, a center console that is reminiscent of a race car and an oversized grille, the vehicle undoubtedly looks exceptional.

Ulrich Bez stated “CC100 is the epitome of everything that is great about Aston Martin”
