There are countless reports of dogs saving humans. Well one pooch owner in the United Kingdom turned the tables.

20-year-old Emma Harris saved her puppy’s life by giving her CPR. The seven-month-old boxer named Lola had been playing outside when a bee flew into her mouth and stung her.

Suddenly, the allergic dog began vomiting and fell to the ground. Harris was panicked but reacted on instinct.

She stated “My mum was a mess and my dad didn't know what to do. I don't know what came over me but I jumped on top of her and started to pump her heart with my fists to give her CPR.”

The family’s neighbor, Jim Ness, who is a retired nurse, noticed the dramatic scene and jumped over the fence to help. He held Lola’s head and coached Harris.

Amazingly, the pooch opened her eyes and started breathing again. She was taken to the vet and given medication. Lola is said to be back to her normal, happy self.
