The Miami Heat will look to put the Indiana Pacers on the brink of elimination when they take the court in Game 4 of their best of seven series in a pro basketball game on Tuesday night. Tip off time from Indiana is scheduled for 8:30PM Eastern Time with national television coverage provided by the TNT TV.

The NBA playoff odds from game four have the road team Miami Heat favored by -2 points with an over under line of 185 points. There has been no line movement in game four since the odds were released.

The Heat take a 2-1 series lead in this best of seven format with their 114-96 road blowout victory against the Indiana Pacers in game three on Sunday night as a -2 point betting favorite. The game ended over the total of 182 points.

Miami got off to a great start as they build a 70-56 lead at the half. Indiana got close as it was 78-70 in the third quarter but Miami rallied to extend their lead to 18 points at the final buzzer.

The Heat enjoyed a 54.5% shooting performance on the Indiana home floor and made 6 of 14 three point attempts. The team attempted 28 free throws and made 24 shots. Good shooting and six fewer turnovers allowed Miami to survive pulling down nine less rebounds than Indiana. All five Miami starters were in double digit scoring due to excellent ball movement. LeBron James led the charge with 22 points and four rebounds on 8 of 17 shooting. Dwyane Wade chipped in with 18 points along with eight assists as he made 8 of his 14 shots. Miami entered this series as the number one shooting team in the NBA as they make 49.6% of their shots. They are also the second best club in the league from the three point line as they sink 39.6% from beyond the arc.

It was a terrible shooting performance for the Pacers as they connect on 39.7% from the field. The team went 8 of 14 from three and got to the free throw line 44 times but made only 30 of their attempts. Indiana surrendered 52 points in the paint to the Heat. This was the type of performance that got Larry Bird to call his team soft in last year’s playoff series against the Heat. David West had 21 points and ten rebounds on 8 of 16 from the floor. Center Roy Hibbert pulled down 17 boards and scored 20 points but he made just 4 of his 12 shots. Indiana gets no spark offensively from their bench all season and game three was no different. Lance Stephenson, Paul George and Roy Hibbert combined for 11 of 32 shooting and Indiana can’t win unless when three of their starters go cold from the field. Their bench is the reason why the Pacers rank in the bottom third of the NBA in all three key offensive categories of points per game, field goal and three point shooting.
