Brazil launches largest troop deployment to fight illegal mining

Brazil's military is 12 days into its largest ever deployment of troops in the country's border regions. The military has sent 25,000 troops to the entire border with Venezuela that stretches nearly 17,000km. Troops are cracking down on illegal gold mining in an area that is home to an indigenous tribe.
