talkSPORT’S Merseyside correspondent Graham Beecroft believes it would be too risky for Everton to appoint Phil Neville as their new manager.
The Goodison Park club are looking for a replacement for David Moyes after his move to Manchester United.
Beecroft believes that Neville, who has just retired as a player, does not have the experience needed to be the boss of a top Premier League club such as the Toffees.
QPR manager Harry Redknapp and Wigan boss Roberto Martinez have also been linked with the vacant job at Everton.
