IPL Spot Fixing: Former Ranji player arrested

Former Ranji player Baburao Yadav was on Tuesday (May 21) arrested in connection with the IPL spot-fixing scandal even as police said it is likely to seek further custody of three arrested players and some bookies. Yadav, who was picked up from Delhi yesterday and questioned for his links with arrested player Ajit Chandila, has been placed under arrest, police sources said. It was Yadav who allegedly introduced Chandila to bookie Sunil Bhatia, who is already arrested, they said.
